Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. By using EdgeProven you represent that you meet these requirements.

EdgeProven is an analytical and educational tool for designing, validating, and paper-trading US-equities strategies, with an AI second opinion. It is not investment advice, a broker-dealer, an investment adviser, or a managed-account service, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship is created. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration information, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account. Verify your email so we can reach you for security-critical messages. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Paper trading runs against a broker’s paper (simulated) environment. Automated features (Autopilot and every scheduled process) operate on your paper account only. A real-money surface exists; it is never automatic, off by default, and enabled per account at our discretion. Where it is enabled, you trigger every placement: single entries are buy-limit only and subject to per-order and per-day limits, while the live Premia Book places a basket sized from your account equity that may include market orders and short positions, including a defined-risk short option spread. If you connect a broker, you authorize EdgeProven to place and read orders on the account whose credentials you provide, and you remain solely responsible for every order — simulated or real — and for complying with your broker’s terms. Automated features execute your own pre-configured rules; they can be wrong, may act on stale or erroneous data, and can lose money — see the Disclaimer.

Some features require a paid plan or per-use validation credits/seat, billed through our payment processor, who acts as merchant of record. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel anytime and retain access through the paid period. Prices may change with notice. Except where required by law or expressly stated, fees are non-refundable; consumed validation credits are non-refundable.

EdgeProven and its software, content, and branding are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of strategy text and content you submit, and grant us the license needed to operate the service (e.g. running your backtests, sending your content to our AI processor to produce your results).

The service integrates third parties (e.g. Alpaca, Anthropic, Finnhub, market-data sources, payment and email providers). Your use of those may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdgeProven is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for trading losses; and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EdgeProven from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or your breach of these Terms.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, risk to the service, or as required by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

We may update these Terms; we will change the “last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
